I’m still not sure where 2016 went, but I won’t lie, I’m glad to see it go. I’m excited for a new year and a new slate.

If you’re wondering where I’ve been, if I’m still alive, and hey, is that guy still drawing? The answer, starting from the last question first, is YES! That drawing, however, has been very targeted and mostly homework related. Yep, that’s right, I’ve been keeping it a bit on the down-low due to being both excited and nervous, but I was accepted into a graduate program and am now one semester into work towards my MFA in Visual Development. It’s definitely been an adjustment getting back into the swing of schoolwork and balancing weekly assigned painting with personal projects (yes, I still do those!).

Spattering of my school projects

I have a ton of goals and projects I want to work on this year. I start my next semester in February, so I’m taking January to update my portfolio, apply to some internships, and work on commissions and personal projects. In other words, you can expect to see new art pop up on my social media and Patreon soon!

I look forward to this year’s convention schedule and re-connecting with everyone.
